Job Title: Data Science Specialist, Analytics Division
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Science Specialist to join our dynamic Analytics Division. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. The Data Science Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data extraction and cleaning to model development, validation, and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights Generation:
Identify, collect, and integrate data from various sources to support analytical initiatives.
Clean, preprocess, and transform large, complex datasets to prepare them for analysis and modeling.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, such as forecasting, classification, and clustering.
Validate, test, and refine models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and performance.
Model Development & Deployment:
Design and build predictive models and machine learning algorithms using various techniques (e.g., regression, decision trees, neural networks, NLP).
Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.
Monitor model performance post-deployment and iterate as necessary to maintain effectiveness.
Explore and implement advanced techniques, including deep learning and AI-driven solutions, where applicable.
Data Visualization & Communication:
Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Translate analytical results into actionable business recommendations and present them to stakeholders.
Develop clear and concise documentation for data models, methodologies, and findings.
Collaboration & Strategy:
Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Operations) to understand their data needs and translate business challenges into data science problems.
Contribute to the development of the overall data strategy and roadmap for the Analytics Division.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Participate in knowledge sharing and mentorship within the data science team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.
Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and statistical analyses.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data science workloads.
Knowledge of data engineering principles and MLOps practices.
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision techniques.
Familiarity with A/B testing and experimental design.
