We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Marketing Manager to join our Growth Team. This role is critical in driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth for our products. You will be responsible for understanding market dynamics, defining product positioning and messaging, developing go-to-market strategies, and executing marketing initiatives that resonate with our target audience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully driving growth through product marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market & Customer Insights:
    • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify market opportunities and understand target audiences.
    • Develop deep expertise on our users, their needs, pain points, and buying behaviors.
    • Translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations for product and marketing teams.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging:
    • Define and articulate compelling product positioning and messaging that highlights unique value propositions and resonates with target personas.
    • Develop clear and concise narratives that communicate the product's benefits and how it solves customer problems.
    • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases, collaborating closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
    • Plan and manage marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth initiatives and track/analyze campaign performance to optimize strategies.
  • Sales Enablement & Content Creation:
    • Create high-quality marketing collateral, including product guides, whitepapers, case studies, sales presentations, and website content.
    • Develop and deliver training materials to equip sales teams with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell the product.
    • Act as a product evangelist, educating internal stakeholders and external audiences about the product's value.
  • Growth Experimentation & Optimization:
    • Collaborate with the Growth team to identify and prioritize growth opportunities through data analysis and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing).
    • Analyze campaign performance and user behavior data to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
    • Contribute to the continuous iteration and refinement of product features and marketing strategies to drive sustained growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Product Management to influence the product roadmap based on market insights and customer feedback.
    • Partner with Marketing teams (Content, Demand Gen, Digital) to ensure alignment and integrated execution of marketing efforts.
    • Act as a key liaison between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or a related role, with a strong focus on driving measurable growth.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of market research, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, and persona development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and present complex ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation; experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, data-driven, and experimental mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a SaaS, tech, or [Specify Industry] environment.
