We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and overall business success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of supply chain best practices, and a proven ability to drive process improvements and manage complex operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Management:
Develop, implement, and refine supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and service excellence.
Oversee daily operations of the supply chain division, ensuring seamless execution of all supply chain activities.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency, inventory levels, on-time delivery, and cost per unit.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions, leveraging data analytics and best practices.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
Oversee the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
Evaluate vendor performance and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure supplier compliance and continuous improvement.
Logistics & Distribution:
Manage and optimize all inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Ensure efficient inventory management, balancing stock levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Oversee the planning and execution of shipping and delivery routes.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain operations team.
Provide clear direction, set performance objectives, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting:
Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to align supply chain activities with business needs.
Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, operational costs, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Utilize data analysis to forecast demand, manage resources, and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
